Hamad Al Ka'abi becomes UAE permanent representative to IAEA
Vienna, Oct. 11, 2008 (WAM)--Ambassador Hamad Ali Al Ka'abi, has presented his credentials to Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Dr Mohammed El Baradei, in presence of UAE Ambassador to Austria Ahmed Rashid Al Dossari.
Al Baradei commended the UAE leadership's wisdom and farsightedness on taking course for development of nuclear capabilities for peaceful purposes to ensure future energy.
He described the appointment of the UAE's permanent representative to the IAEA as a harbinger and positive indicator for boosting the international cooperation in the field of nuclear energy based on transparency and safety measures. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
