NAM Official: Iran One Of Most Active NAM Members In Science, Technology Fields

Tehran, May 14, IRNA - - Director of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Center for Science and Technology َArun P. Kulreshtha on Sunday termed Iran as a forerunner and one of the most active NAM members in the field of Science and Technology. He was speaking to IRNA on the sidelines of an international workshop on diplomacy of technology for developing countries in Tehran. Kulreshtha said Iranian scientists were also among the most active members who could hold six scientific meetings and present 146 articles and two books on scientific and technological subjects to other members of the movement. He said Iran as a leading NAM member country has helped the grouping scientifically with its self-developed knowledge the hoped that the participants in the workship would prepare and offer a solid and rich document to the next NAM summit. The three day workshop on diplomacy of technology for developing countries kicked off in Tehran on Sunday./end
