CEC CHAIRMAN MEETS KAZAKH COUNTERPART

Baku, 12 0ctober, (AzerTAj)Chairman of Azerbaijan Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov met Monday with his Kazakh counterpart Kuandyk Turgankulov in Baku, according to Independent Press Center under CEC.

Panahov said a memorandum on cooperation signed between the two countries` central election committees contributes to expanding bilateral relationships. He also briefed Kuandyk Turgankulov on preparation for the upcoming presidential election. According to him, all necessary measures have been taken to ensure the holding of
free, fair and transparent election.

Kuandyk Turgankulov, in turn, praised the level of election preparations in the
country.
He noted more than 50 Kazakh observers will monitor the presidential election.
Turgankulov also praised the fact all constituencies and polling stations throughout
the country were provided with modern equipment.
