CEC CHAIRMAN MEETS COUNSELOR FOR POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC AFFAIRS OF U.S. EMBASSY IN AZERBAIJAN
Baku, 12 0ctober, (AzerTAj) - Chairman of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov met Monday with Robert Garverick, counselor for political and economic affairs of the Embassy of the United States in Azerbaijan, according to Independent Press Center under CEC.
The CEC Chairman briefed Robert Garverick on run-up for the upcoming presidential
election. He stressed all necessary conditions had been created in the country to
conduct free, fair and transparent election.
The meeting also discussed bilateral cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.
