Qatari, Belarusian Cultural Ministers Sign Executive Program for Cultural Cooperation Agreement

Minsk, June 18 (QNA) - HE Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage and his Belarussian counterpart, HE Pavel Latushko signed on Sunday afternoon the executive program for the Cultural Cooperation Agreement between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Belarus at the headquarters of the Belarussian Ministry of Culture. Following the signing ceremony, the two ministers held a press conference, during which, they stressed the depth of relations between the two countries. The Qatari Minister of Culture said the signing of this program is an important event for the two countries; especially on the level of mutual cultural cooperation, noting that the reciprocal visits of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani to Belarus and the President of the Republic of Belarus to Qatar have paved the way for the elaboration of this agreement. Concluding, Dr. Al Kuwari extended strong wishes to further develop the bilateral relations, inviting the Belarusian media to visit the Qatari cultural days scheduled to be inaugurated later in the day.
