HEART DISEASES CENTRE TO BE BUILT IN EVERY REGION, MINISTER
Denpasar, Bali, Oct 14 (ANTARA) - Minister of health Siti Fadilah Supari, said here Tuesday that the government would build integrated centre for heart diseases in every region across the country.
"We will have a heart disease centre in every hospital across the nation," the minister said during a function at the Sanglah Hospital, adding that the centre also already existed in Jakarta and Surabaya.
"Sanglah will be the next region to have such centre for eastern Indonesia. Furthermore, we will build it in Medan and Semarang," she said explaining that heart diseases were most common cause of death in Indonesia with a high rate.
"Therefore, integrated centres for heart diseases with an international standard is needed in every region, to use it for educational purpose too," she said.
