UAE President receives credentials of new envoys

Abu Dhabi, Oct 15, 2008 (WAM) - President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan received yesterday at Al Bateen Palace, in the presence of H.H. Gen. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, letters of credence of seven ambassadors of sister Arab and friendly countries.

Sheikh Khalifa received the letters from the new ambassadors of France, Kingdom of Belgium, Sri Lanka, Jordan, Pakistan, Belarus, and the US.
The President warmly welcomed the new envoys and wished them success in assuming their mission of bolstering relations between the UAE and their respective countries in various fields.

Sheikh Khalifa affirmed the UAE's keenness to build balanced relations with all sisterly and friendly countries so as to boost economic, cultural and tourist exchange.

He assured the ambassadors that they will receive the support and assistance they need from all the state institutions to ensure the success of their mission in their second home, the UAE.

The ambassadors thanked the UAE President and expressed happiness to represent their countries in the UAE.

They praised the UAE President for his prudent leadership which led the UAE to make great achievements in all walks of life. They also lauded the UAE for its balanced and effective role on the regional and international scenes.
