Arrogant Powers Not Willing NAM Summit News To Be Released

Tehran, Aug 29, IRNA – Chairman of the Organization for World Peace said Wednesday that although the arrogant powers and the Zionist regime do not want NAM Summit’s news to be spread across the world, the event received a full news coverage.
Abed Ali Abid told IRNA on the sidelines of the second day of the NAM’s foreign ministerial meeting that imposing news sanctions on the event by the arrogant powers and the Zionist regime reveals their weakness and special significance of the summit.
“By dispatching 1,100 reporters to the summit, Iran proved that news sanctions does not make sense in today’s world,” he said, noting that the event received extensive news coverage.
The more sanctions are increased, the more curious the nations will be about the news of the summit, Abid said.
Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) with 120 members and 17 observers is considered as not aligned with or against any power bloc.
16th NAM Summit opened on August 16 and will go through 31st. NAM’s ministerial meeting will end today in Tehran and the summit to be attended by heads of states will kick off tomorrow by a speech by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei./end
