270 NAM Guests Visit Niavaran Cultural Compound

Tehran, Sept 2, IRNA – Some 280 foreign delegates, attending the 16th NAM Summit, visited Niavaran Historical and Cultural Compound over the past few days. The guests, coming from Bangladesh, Guinea, Sri Lanka, Ecuador, Indonesia, India, Peru, Azerbaijan, Thailand, Afghanistan, Syria, Egypt, China, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Africa, were shocked by antiquity of the historical relics on display in the site. The 16th NAM Summit of Leaders wrapped up work in on Friday night. During the two-day meeting presided by President Ahmadinejad 63 leaders of the NAM member states conveyed their views about international issues, peace and security at the large world body after the United Nations./end
