Iranian Wrestler Wins 2nd Gold In World Junior Wrestling Championship

Pattaya, Thailand, Sept 9, IRNA – Iranian wrestler Mehran Mirzaei won gold medal of 96kg category of World Junior Wrestling Championship on Saturday after defeating his Azari rival. He had already overpowered the Bulgarian rival foe 4-0, Swiss rival 2-0 and Turkish rival 3-0 to stand champion. Before him, Alireza Hatami in 96kg category won the bronze medal of the championship after winning over his US, Romanian and Russian rivals. Behnam Ehsanpour was the first gold medal winner of Iranian wrestling caravan in 60kg category of World Junior Wrestling Championship on Saturday after defeating his Russian rival./end
