Iran To Attend Istanbul Islamic Style, Clothing Exhibit : Official

Tehran, Sept 10, IRNA – Iran for the first time will take part in Istanbul Islamic Style, Clothing Exhibition slated for September 13-16, said deputy culture and Islamic guidance minister for artistic affairs. Talking to IRNA, Hamid Shahabadi added that some 45 Iranian women clothing designs will be put on display in the exhibit. “The designs using Iranian and Islamic symbols should introduce the Iranian culture and art,” he said. An exhibition featuring the Iranian costumes will be held at Vahdat Hall in Tehran from October 30 to November 10, Shahabadi said, noting that organizing another exhibition focusing on student clothing models and designs is also on the agenda concurrent with the start of the new academic year./end
