Iran-Turkey Ink Co-op Agreement

Ankara, Oct 6, IRNA – Iran and Turkey inked an agreement on fostering cooperation in the area of air, marine and ground transportation here on Saturday. The agreement was inked by visiting Iranian Road and Urban Development Minister Ali Nikzad and Turkey's Transport and Communications Minister Binali Yildirim at the end of Iran-Turkey Joint Economic Commission meeting in Ankara. Talking to IRNA, Nikzad said his visit to Turkey was made at the invitation of Yildirim, adding the visit was a best opportunity to discuss transportation models with the Turkish side. He said the two sides also agreed to declare Iran's Busheher port city as sister city with Turkey's Mersin port and share their experiences in transportation area./end
