Michel Aoun: Hezbollah Drone Logical Answer To Israeli Invasions

Beirut, Oct 13, IRNA – Head of Lebanese largest Christian Party Michel Aoun said that flying Iran made drone, belonging to Hezbollah over occupied territories is a logical answer to Israeli invasion against Lebanon territorial sovereignty. Former commander of Lebanese army and head of Free Patriotic Movement in an interview with media here on Friday, by referring to statement of the Lebanese Hezbollah Secretary General Seyed Hassan Nasrollah concerning drone flying over occupied territory, said it is logical to stop the Zionist regime planes invasion to Lebanese aerial space. He added this is the first time that Lebanon responds to Israeli aerial invasion by Hezbollah drone. Nasrollah in his speech on Thursday evening, which was broadcast by Lebanese TV network “ Al-Menar”, said that the drone was made in Iran and assembled by Hezbollah experts, adding that the Israelis, who were proud that their sky was impenetrable, had a breaking hit. Michel Aoun underlined that neutralization policy declared by Lebanese government concerning Syrian crisis is acceptable for us, but because of inability to control borders for Syrian refugees, many armed elements have entered border areas and it is not possible to keep our neutrality. He said that the best way to prevent armed elements into Lebanon territory is to strengthen our border area with military forces and while the Syrian opposition armed group are inside Lebanon, we cannot leave them alone. Aoun concluded that Syrian crisis can lead into a new world war and we should not let such situation emerge, especially this event can have a big negative effect on Lebanon./end
