PG Project, Major Development In Trade Exchanges - Official

Tehran, Oct 13, IRNA – Vice-President Hamid Baqaei said the Persian Gulf project will lead to a significant development in tourism and trade exchanges in the Qeshm island in the Persian Gulf. Baqaei, who is also Secretary of the Coordination Council for Iran's Free Zones and Special Economic Regions, said the great national project will help promote international investment in the country. On the importance of Qeshm island, he said goods will be transited to the Indian Ocean, then to Europe, via several Qeshm ports. The VP added that Iran's free zones and economic regions are playing leading role in making constructive interactions with the world countries, particularly the regional states./end
