S.Leader Lauds Iranian Youth For Resisting Hegemons

Tehran, Oct 14, IRNA – Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei on Saturday lauded the Iranian youths for their resistance against hegemons. Addressing families of martyrs, the war veterans and war disabled in northeastern province of North Khorassan Province on Saturday, Ayatollah Khamenei thanked the martyrs saying that Islamic Revolution has attained remarkable growth and gained a strong position among the youth. Ayatollah Khamenei said thanks to their firm resolve and wisdom, the Iranian people have stood up bravely to adventurism of the hegemonic powers. The Supreme Leader said the disappointment of a certain group of individuals does not mean the Islamic Revolution has come to a standstill. Ayatollah Khamenei said certain individuals have deviated from the path of the Islamic Revolution for different reasons, including their fatigue, doubt or being deceived by the enemy. On the contrary, added the Supreme Leader, thanks to the martyrs, more youths all over the country are turning to the Islamic Revolution. Ayatollah Khamenei said Iranian society is today braver, wiser and more informed of daily political issues than ever before./end
