AZERBAIJAN ELECTIONS DEMOCRATIC, CIS PA OBSERVERS
Baku, 23 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)A group of observers of CIS Parliamentary Assembly led by Svetlana Orlova, Deputy Chair of the Russian Federation Council, praised presidential elections in Azerbaijan as democratic, AzerTAc said citing ITAR-TASS.
The observers, who monitored the poll in 126 polling stations of 23 constituencies
in Baku, Ganja, Guba, Lankaran and Shamakhi, said the elections met Azerbaijan`s
legislation and international democratic standards.
The monitors also stressed the rights of all participants of the election were duly
observed during the voting process.
