FLOOD WATERS INUNDATE 8 SCHOOLS IN RIAU
Pekanbaru, Oct 24 (ANTARA) - Rokan river overflowed inundating eight elementary schools in Rokan Hilir (Rohil) regency, Riau, a teacher said here.
The Rohil education agency hief, Misnawati explained that the eight schools are SDN 005, SDN 006, SDN 007, SDN 025, SDN 023, SDN 017, SDN 028 dan SD Alwasliyah.
The situation had caused the schools to close their doors.
Misnawati said the local education agency has to close the flooded schools until they can be used again.
