Scoot Introduces Early Check-In Service

SINGAPORE, Dec 6 (Bernama) -- Scoot, Singapore’s newest low cost carrier, has introduced an early check-in service for those who just cannot wait to Scoot away. From Thursday, Scoot’s early check-in service will be available at Singapore Changi Airport’s Terminal 2, daily from 3pm to 10pm (Singapore time), for guests whose flights are departing up to 3am of the next day. In a statement, it said the service would be offered free of charge in the introductory phase. Chief Executive Officer Campbell Wilson said the early check-in service allowed more freedom for passengers to explore Singapore without the hassle of luggage, or to spend more time duty free shopping at one of Changi Airport’s 330 retail and 120 food & beverage outlets. Passengers mus be at the departure gate at least 45 minutes before departure time. Scoot’s network now comprises the cities of Singapore, Sydney, Gold Coast, Bangkok, Taipei, Tianjin and Tokyo, with two more – Shenyang and Qingdao – commencing soon. -- BERNAMA
