Adelaide United beat Perth Glory 2-1
Adelaide United have claimed top spot on the A-League ladder after coming from behind to beat Perth Glory 2-1 at Hindmarsh Stadium.
The Asian Champions League finalists won with late goals from Brazilian Alemao and captain Travis Dodd less than 36 hours after arriving back from Tashkent.
After a scoreless first half, Perth striker Nikita Rukavytsya put Perth ahead with
an opportunist strike in the 55th minute but Adelaide hit back for a stunning
victory with goals in the 79th and 82nd minutes.
Dodd clinched Adelaide's fifth win of the season with a contentious penalty after
coming on as a substitute in the second half.
