Room-to-Read promotes school libraries
(KPL) The Room-to-Read Organisation held training for school librarians on 21-24 October at the Children’s Education Development Centre in Vientiane to upgrade their knowledge on school library management and administration.
The trainees are from Sayaboury, Phongsaly, Oudomsay, Borikhamsay, Saravane and Vientiane provinces.
Mr. Chaleun Souvong, Director General of the Primary School and Kindergarten Department said: “The training is very important as it will improve reading promotion in Laos.
Making people interested in reading is considered a contribution to the education quality improvement.
