Banking, finance and insurance exhibition to open

Hanoi (VNA) - The 5 th annual international banking, finance and insurance exhibition, with the involvement of almost all of the leading Vietnamese businesses in the sector, will open in Hanoi from Oct. 31-Nov. 2.

The exhibition will offer an overall view of the Vietnamese credit and
insurance system, as well as the achievements of this sector over recent
years, focusing on the range of new products and services offered by credit
establishments aiming to raise their prestige, competitiveness and marketing
capacity.

The event will act as a forum for businesses in this sector to share
experiences relating to a wide range of financial, monetary and
technological activities and will offer the simplest method for businesses,
particularly small- and medium-sized enterprises in need of capital, to
contact relevant credit establishments.

Vietnam 's potential and investment environment, as well as a number of
projects calling for investment, partners and technical transfer will be
also presented.

A number of seminars and forums focusing on credit institutions' lending
mechanisms, the application of modern management models in commercial
banking administration, and brand-building and international integration,
