Canberra 'least popular place' to visit

Canberra is the least popular capital city in Australia for tourists to visit for a
holiday, a survey has found.
This is despite the national capital being home to various attractions such as the
National Museum of Australia, the National Gallery and the Australian War Memorial.
When asked "which Australian city would you least like to holiday in" a third of
those surveyed voted the national capital top of the list.
More than 2,500 people took part in the survey, conducted by totaltravel.com.
A surprising 14 per cent said Sydney, with its famed Opera House and Harbour Bridge,
was the city they would least like to visit, while 13 per cent said Darwin and
Adelaide were their least favourable destinations.
Eight per cent nominated Melbourne, while the smaller cities of Hobart (six per
cent) and Perth (five per cent) were the least unpopular
