RCA's planeload of relief materials arrives in Yemen

Mukkala, Oct 30, 2008 (WAM) - A UAE Red Crescent Authority's aeroplane carrying 40 tons of relief supplies to the victims of floods in Yemen, arrived in Mukkala, the worst hit area. The RCA team arriving aboard the plane immediately began a tour of the hit areas to assess levels of damage and the humanitarian situation. According to the Director of Al Mukkala Airport, five Emarati planes arrived during the past few days, carrying relief consignments to the people affected by the floods.
