21st Intˈl PG Conference Begins

Bandar Abbas, Hormuzgan Prov, March 5, IRNA – The 21st International Conference on the Persian Gulf kicked off here Tuesday in south of the country in the presence of first Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi. A group of domestic and foreign scholars are attending the three-day conference which is to focus on the geopolitical developments in the World of Islam and in the Persian Gulf region. The event is aimed at introducing the Persian Gulf region and reviewing its current developments. The Conference also aims to discuss the future situation of the Persian Gulf region influenced by the expansion of the Islamic Awakening movement. Guests from 22 world states including Iraq, Japan, Ukraine, Russia, Singapore and India are participating in the Persian Gulf conference./end
