Zayed gave his life for his Arab nation and Arab causes: President Mubarak

Abu Dhabi, Nov 3, 2008 (WAM) - Egyptian President, Hosni Mubarak has said that the Arab nation has lost a great and wise leader who gave his life for his Arab nation and Arab causes.
President Mubarak made the statement on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the death of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. "As we mark today the 4th anniversary of the passing away of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan, we so much miss a dear brother and a wise leader who led the UAE on the path of comprehensive development and gave his life to his Arab nation and Arab causes," he said in the statement.
"As we mark today this anniversary, we truly miss him for his sincerity and honesty to Egypt, but his memory shall forever remain in the heart and mind of the Egyptian people...," he added.
The Egyptian president prayed to Allah, the Almighty to grant Sheikh Zayed's soul perfect peace and to reward him abundantly for his generous contributions to his country, the Arab and Muslim nations.
He also prayed to Allah to grant the UAE, its leadership and people more progress and prosperity.
