BAKU TO HOST COUNCIL OF EUROPE CONFERENCE OF MINISTERS RESPONSIBLE FOR CULTURE
Baku, 4 November,(AzerTAj)The Council of Europe Conference of Ministers Responsible for Culture entitled “Intercultural dialogue as a basis for peace and sustainable development in Europe and its neighboring regions” will be held in Baku on December 1-4.
In this connection, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an Executive Order
on November 4 setting up an Organizational Committee led by Prime Minister Artur
Rasizade to deal with preparation and conduct of the event. Under the Order, the
Committee is to draw up a relevant action plan.
According to the document, the proposal that the capital city of Azerbaijan located
in the junction of civilizations, hosts the conference, was supported by the Council
of Europe leadership.
