EXTRAORDINARY SESSION OF ASSOCIATION OF EUROPEAN SENATES TO TAKE PLACE IN SAINT PETERSBURG
Baku, 8 November,(AzerTAj)Extraordinary Session of the Association of European Senates to mark the 15th anniversary of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation will take place on November 13-15 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
The purposes of the Association are to develop relationships between members,
promote bicameralism within the framework of parliamentary democracy and strengthen
European identity and awareness. Each year the Association organizes at least one
meeting of Senate Presidents on specific topics to be determined in advance by joint
agreement.
