SPA -The Health Statistical Year Book disclosed that the MOH's number of allied health personnel totaled 26,657 inclusive of 20,203,
accounting for 75.8 per cent of this category of personnel.

It said the rate of physicians is estimated to be 9.3 for 10,000 or
One physician for 1071.

The rate of dentists is 0.9 dentist for 10,000 people or One dentist
for 10,871.

The rate of pharmacists is 0.5 pharmacists for 10,000 people or One
pharmacist for 18,634 people.

The rate of nurses is 21.1 nurses for 10,000 people or One nurse for
473 people.

The rate of allied health personnel is 11 for 10,000 people or One
personnel for 909 people.
