HOUSTON HOSTS TURKIC CULTURES FESTIVAL
Baku, 8 November,(AzerTAj)Houston-Baku Sister City Association members took part in the Turkic Cultures Festival in Houston, America’s fourth largest city. The two-day festival was held at the central square of Houston, attracting more than 15,000 visitors.
The public was offered a wide variety of events highlighting rich cultural heritage shared by peoples of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyz Republic, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. A little gallery of Azerbaijani culture, made by the members of Houston-Baku Sister City Association, embraced cultural displays, including Azerbaijan reference books, souvenirs, music,
dances and a documentary film about Azerbaijan.
