Iran, Malaysia mull cultural accord
Kuala Lumpur, Nov 19, IRNA - Iran's Ambassador to Malaysia Mehdi Khandaqabadi said on Tuesday that Iran calls for Malaysia to speed up finalization of cultural accord between the two countries.
Khandaqabadi made the remarks in a meeting with Malaysian Minister of
Information Ahmad Shabery Cheek.
He also extended the invitation from Iran's Minister of Culture and
the Islamic Guidance Mohammad Hossein Saffar-Harandi to Mr. Cheek to
visit Iran.
Iran and Malaysia agreed to hold expert meetings for preparations to
ink the cultural agreement soon.
