AZERBAIJAN IS SWITZERLAND`s MAJOR ENERGY SUPPLIER, SWISS PRESS
Baku, 21 November,(AzerTAj)Swiss newspapers described Azerbaijan as a major energy supplier for Switzerland, amid Azeri Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov`s two-day trip to the country.
On Thursday, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has made public several extracts from
a range of Swiss periodicals which praised Azerbaijan`s contribution to ensuring
energy security in Europe.
Also in the focus were a Memorandum of Understanding Azerbaijan and Switzerland
sealed in 2007, and inauguration of the Swiss Embassy in Baku which was attended by
President Pascal Couchepin.
