Azerbaijani Consul General to Dubai meets Director General of Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities

Baku, February 24 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Consul General Parviz Ismayilzade has met Director General of the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities (DIACA) of Dubai Hamad Al Shaibani. Ismayilzade praised relations between the two countries, saying “these ties have historical and cultural roots”. The Consul General noted Azerbaijan attached great importance to development of bilateral relationship with Dubai. He also provided an insight into the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, adding official Baku hails the support of the “fraternal country”. Hamad Al Shaibani said the UAE put special emphasis on overall development of cooperation with Azerbaijan. He also noted the DIACA was ready to cooperate with Azerbaijan in arranging the religious exhibitions, training courses, Quran competitions, as well as organizing the reciprocal visits.
