6 new Iranian ambassadors missioned

TEHRAN, Sept.3 (MNA) – 6 new Iranian ambassadors will soon begin their mission in Germany, Romania, Tunisia, Bolivia, China and Colombia.
Ali Majedi, Iran’s new ambassador, left Iran for Germany to officially open the Embassy and begin a new chapter in Tehran-Berlin ties.
Majedi, an experienced economist and diplomat, has previously been Iran’s ambassador to Japan, Brazil and charge d'affaires in the United Arab Emirates.
German press called Majedi “Hassan Rouhani’s one of the most experienced political figures”.
Hamid Moayer, Mostafa Boroujerdi, Seyed Reza Tabatabaei Shafi’ie, Ali Asghar Khaji and Mohammad Rezaie, are Iran’s new ambassadors to Romania, Tunisia, Bolivia, China and Colombia, respectively.
Ali Asghar Khaji, former Deputy FM for European and American Affairs, will leave for Beijing to officially begin his activities in China as Iran’s ambassador.
Hamid Moayer, Iran’s former ambassador to Zimbabwe and Kenya will leave for Bucharest to begin his activities as Iran’s ambassador to Romania.
Seyed Reza Tabatabaei Shafi’ie, assistant of the Center for International Education and Research for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is Iran’s ambassador to Bolivia. He has an MA in Political Sciences and has been senior deputy for Arab-African Affairs in the past years.
Mohammad Rezaei, the undersecretary for Parliamentary and Iranian Affairs is also Iran’s new ambassador to Colombia.
The new ambassadors met with Iran’s president for a talk on Tuesday, during which Rouhani highlighted that “our main approach in the field of diplomacy is constructive interactions in international relations in the context of foreign policy strategies and the highest achievement of national interests.”
