Iran congratulates Iraq new govt.

TEHRAN, Sep. 09 – Iran’s Foreign Ministry has congratulated Iraq on formation of new government. Iran Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian told late on Monday that the Islamic Republic of Iran supports Iraqi government and prime minister. Amir-Abdollahian said that regional countries should help Iraq uproot terrorism there. He added that the Islamic Republic respects Iraq's sovereignty and national unity. Iraqi new government was given vote of confidence late on Monday with the majority of parliamentarian participation and support. Iraqi PM Heidar al-Ebadi introduced all his cabinet on Monday, except for two key ministries of Defense and Interior. All Ebadi's men were approved by the parliament.
