IPC President hails development of Paralympic movement in Azerbaijan

Baku, October 9 (AzerTAc). President of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Philip Craven has praised the development of the Paralympic movement in Azerbaijan. “I follow the activity of the National Paralympic Committee and am very happy for its achievements,” he told first Vice President of Azerbaijan`s Paralympic Committee Natig Gasimov as they met in Berlin where the International Paralympic Committee hosted a membership gathering. “This is a strong signal of the government support of the development of sports and physical education in Azerbaijan,” said Mr. Craven. He also asked Mr. Gasimov to thank President of Azerbaijan`s Paralympic Committee Ilgar Rahimov for his congratulations on the 25th anniversary of IPC.
