Iran, UNIDO call for further cooperation

Tehran, Dec 8, IRNA Iran's Minister of Industries and Mines Ali Akbar Mehrabian and
Director-General of UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO)
Kandeh K. Yumkella called for closer cooperation.

The two officials also urged support for South-South Cooperation projects.

They reached an agreement on launching an international center for
South-South Cooperation in Tehran.

UNIDO and Iran will hold constructive talks on paving the way for
further cooperation, according to a statement released after signing
the agreement.
