President Rouhani promises financial facilities to exporters
Tehran, Dec 7, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani here on Sunday promised financial facilities to Iranian exporters.
Addressing a Majlis session, he said various plans are being carried out to help exporting bodies and companies to gain access to the forex resources they need.
President Rouhani went to Majlis to outline characteristics of his proposed budget bill for the next Iranian year (to start March 21, 2015) to the legislative body.
He referred to improving conditions for entrepreneurs as another plan by the government to get the country out of recession and said 712 national construction projects are to be inaugurated by the end of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2015).
President Rouhani also pointed to the policies of the Economy of Resistance as a major consideration in his proposed budget bill and said it is based on 70-dollar-p/b oil revenues.
He said the next year budget bill cuts reliance on oil revenues by one-third.
President Rouhani submitted next year's budget bill to the legislative body.
Among the most important approaches adopted in the budget bill for the next year (1394) are:
Implementation of the Economy of Resistance policies, detente in foreign policy, management of public sector's debts, continued execution of the targeted subsidies plan, reduction of inflation rate and improving people's purchasing power and social welfare.
Based on an approval by the Iranian lawmakers in 2008, the government is required to submit its budget bill for the coming year to the Majlis by the middle of Azar (the 9th month of the Iranian calendar year) to avoid any irregularities in the process of examining the bill by the legislators.
This is the second successive year that the government of President Rouhani has managed to prepare the budget bill on time.
President Rouhani has recently referred to the budget bill for 1394 as a budget bigger than that of the previous year (1393).
The President also said in the next year's budget bill, more money has been allocated to development projects./end
