Baku, 12 December,(AzerTAj)New encyclopedia of jazz performers has been recently
published in Moscow. The book provides complete information on eminent world jazz
musicians.
Author of the book Vladimir Feyertogue has included in encyclopedia
articles about three Azerbaijani jazz performers – outstanding Azerbaijani jazz
pianist and composer Vagif Mustafazadeh, famous for fusing jazz and mugam, his
daughter Aziza MustafaZadeh, jazz pianist, singer, and composer, and Hasan Bagirov,
popular jazz singer and guitarist. By the way, Hasan Bagirov is unfamiliar to
Azerbaijani jazz lovers, as he is living in Russia.
