AZERBAIJAN TO SEND NEW CONTINGENT OF MILITARIES TO AFGHANISTAN
Baku, 17 December,(AzerTAj) - Defense Minister of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Safar Abiyev today met the minister of foreign affairs of Afghanistan Rangin Dadfar Spanta now visiting Azerbaijan, Defense Ministry press service said.
The ministers had exchange of views on current level of cooperation and prospects of
bilateral relations in the coming years between Azerbaijan and Afghanistan.
The ministers gave high assessment to the contribution of the Azerbaijani
peace-keepers in Afghanistan. Azerbaijan will, according to Azeri Minister, send a
mew military squad to Afghanistan shortly.
