‘NECESSARY CONDITIONS CREATED IN AZERBAIJAN TO PROTECT RIGHTS OF MIGRANTS’
Baku, 17 December,(AzerTAj)Chief of State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Arzu Rahimov said Wednesday at a press-conference that necessary conditions were created in his country to protect rights of migrants.
He noted the Service was established in 2007 by a relevant presidential decree to
regulate migration process and build up migration policy in the country.
According to Rahimov, some amendments made to laws created favorable conditions in
the country to solve migration-related problems.
He also stressed the Service had established relations with relevant departments in
the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and Russia to study their
practice.
