      Togolese FM, Iranian minister discuss issues of mutual interest
 Tehran, Dec 23, IRNA - Visiting Togolese Foreign Minister in a meeting with Energy Minister  Parviz Fattah here on Monday discussed with him issues of mutual  interest In the meeting, Fattah said Iran has reached the level of  self-sufficiency in the fields of production, distribution and  transfer in the water and electricity industry and added, "All  Iranians are using these services."
The minister added, "The whole process of designing, construction of
power plants and dams in Iran are done by domestic experts." He added,
"We are ready for a full cooperation in the fields of training and
educating the related issues of the industry." Kofi Assa, for his
part, evaluated Iran's position among African countries "positive" and
said, "Upon our priorities in the foreign policy we are expanding
cooperation with Iran."
Considering agricultural crisis in Togo, we want continuation of
cooperation with Iran in this concern, Assa added.
He concluded, "President of Togo has asked for Iran's help and
assistance on execution of projects in the fields of dam, water
control and transferring electricity in the country."
