Hua Hin Food Festival set Aug 28-30

PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN, THAILAND, August 19 (TNA) - International visitors are welcome to Hua Hin Food Festival, set to be held in wellknown seaside Hua Hin area of Thailand’s Prachuap Khiri Khan Province from August 28-30, 2015. Hua Hin Municipality, in cooperation with Huahin-Cha Am Chef Association, local hoteliers and other relevant agencies, will organise the Hua Hin Food Festival at 19-rai Hua Hin Royal Queen's Park, aimed to promote local tourism through a variety of food and beverages to be offered by leading hotels and restaurants in Hua Hin and seaside Cha-Am area in adjacent Petchaburi Province with reasonable prices. On the opening day, a total of 88 woks of spicy stir-fried rice with seafood will be cooked at the event in honour of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the auspicious occasion of the beloved Thai monarch's 88th birthday anniversary on December 5, 2015. Besides, fruit and vegetable and ice carving competitions, as well as cooking demonstrations of local specialties will be organised as part of the three-day fanfare. (TNA)
