AZERDEMIRYOLBANK RECEIVES SECOND CREDIT TRANCHE
Baku, 30 December,(AzerTAj) - Azerdemiryolbank received the second credit tranche within the $3 million credit agreement signed with Islamic Corporation for Development of Private Sector (ICD), Yusif Jabbarov, Bank`s Deputy Chairman of Board said.
According to his words, finances raised for six-year period will be directed for
small and medium-size businesses in accordance with Shariat rules.
“The credit line will be used for support of different types of business activity,
including agriculture, biotechnologies, education, overall production, medicine,
information technologies, multimedia, telecommunications and transport. Only
tobacco-growing and wine-making make an expulsion as well as guard business, tourism
and real estate sector,” Mr. Jabbarov said.
Azerdemiryolbank has already placed successfully the ICD first tranche of $500,000
received in September.
“Total amount of international credit resources has approached to $115 million,” he
said.
