Museum Siam to open nightly for New Year

BANGKOK, Nov 19 (TNA) -- Museum Siam to open at night during the year's end in celebration of the coming New Year. Director of the National Discovery Museum Institute or Museum Siam Rames Promyen said that in December, the museum has planned to open at night for 3 night straight, aiming to encourage the new generation to experience going to the museum to learn about the country's society, history, and cutlure, as well as the ASEAN region through various exhibition set up around the venue. This was also part of the plan to create sustainable knowledge society, he said. Presently, there two exhibitions being showcased at the museum, including essays about Thailand the 'My Experience on ASEAN". Furthermore, the museum has planned to organise the "Night at the Museum" event on December 6, where visitors, both children and adults would be able to enjoy outdoor performances and activities the bring entertainment and knowledge.
