S. Korean footballer to play for Tom' Tomsk
SEOUL, Jan. 8 (Yonhap) -- South Korean striker Shin Young-rok will play with FK
Tom' Tomsk of the Russian Premier League, his agent Withus Management said
Thursday.
Withus Management said Shin closed a verbal contract with the Russian pro
football club to play for one year for US$400,000. The verbal contract will be
finalized with the exchange of written documents via fax.
Withus said two to three Russian teams have shown interest in the 22-year-old
Shin since last summer. Shin played with the Samsung Blue Wings, the 2008
champion of the K-League, before becoming a free agent this year.
