OSCE MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIRS SET TO ARRIVE IN REGION THIS FORTNIGHT

Baku, January 8, (AzerTAc). The upcoming visit of Minsk Group co-chairs to find a solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will smooth the way for the next meeting of presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia, American co-chair of the Minsk Group Mattew Bryza told journalists.
“During the visit, we are planning to meet the presidents and foreign ministers of both countries. Basic principles will be the main subject of talks. I think we need to specify some things and reach agreements. I hope that we will manage to come to any agreements in the first half of the year ,” said Bryza.
Bryza noted talks will focus on basic principles of conflict resolution.
“I cannot give you a precise date of the visit as this issue is under discussion and depends on the schedule of my colleagues. One thing I can say for sure that co-chairs will arrive in the region this fortnight,” he said.
