Marubeni Corporation selected as main investor to TT Power Plant Project

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Steering committee on the Tavantolgoi Power Plant Project selected Japan-based Marubeni Corporation as the main investor on this February 28. The project unit has recently completed a total of 5,000 pages of documents, including 15 draft investment and procurement agreements and over 20 studies. Australian WorleyParsons has worked as a technical consultant, financial consulting was made by Japan’s Sumitomot Mitsui, a legal adviser was the US-based Shearman & Sterling. Evalution of environmental and social impact has been conducted by the UK-based Mott MacDonald.
