In the meantime, the meeting continued discussing today a number of
research and working papers on the latest developments in this area,
notably the modern methods of conducting surgery of anterior cruciate
ligament and groin problems in children and the latest methods of
treatment of Scoliosis, Artificial joint replacement and bone
fractures.
Speaking on the occasion, Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz,
President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority and the Honorary
President of the Saudi Orthopedic Association said the Saudi
universities, including King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah have
taken steps forward in order to enrich the unique diversity of
scientific, professional and scientific fields, in particular,
putting Saudi Arabia among the most advanced countries in the
medical field, research and application.
He stressed that the Saudi Orthopedic Association is in
synergy with Saudi universities in achieving its mission through the
establishment of such conferences with scientific experts,
researchers and physicians from around the world.
Prince Faisal bin Abdullah, reiterated the importance of the role of
the media in highlighting the medical accomplishments achieved by
Saudi universities.
He praised the team who carried out the operation using new
technology in bone lengthening to help many patients to end their
suffering, adding that the selection of a Saudi hospital is a
reflection of the superiority of medical skills of Saudi Arabia.
