HELIKON-OPERA TO STAGE LA TRAVIATA IN BAKU
Baku, January 11 (AzerTAc). The troupe of the Russian Helikon-Opera theatre will perform Giuseppe Verdi`s La Traviata in Baku next weekend.
The opera will be conducted by Azerbaijan`s honored art worker Yalchin Adygozalov who will be accompanied by the Azerbaijan State Symphonic Orchestra after Uzeyir Hajibeyov.
Helikon-Opera was on a similar tour of Baku last year to stage Carmen by Georges Bizet.
The artistic director and the founder of Helikon-Opera, People’s Artist of Russia Dmitry Bertman staged more than 70 performances in Russia and abroad, including Spain, France, Germany, Ireland, Canada, Austria, Estonia, Sweden, New Zealand, Denmark.
