Kim Jong Un Elected Delegate of Seventh Congress of WPK

Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- A conference of the Korean People's Army (KPA) of the Workers' Party of Korea took place on April 12 and 13. It was attended by delegates elected by the party organizations of units at all levels of the KPA. All the participants observed a moment's silence in memory of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. The conference reviewed the work done by the Party Committee of the KPA. There was an election of the leadership body of the Party Committee of the KPA at the conference. It elected delegates and nominated observers to the Seventh Congress of the WPK. Hwang Pyong So, director of the General Political Bureau of the KPA, made a speech on electing supreme leader Kim Jong Un as delegate to the Seventh Congress of the WPK. A decision to elect Kim Jong Un as delegate to the congress was adopted with a unanimous approval. Officers and men who have devoted themselves to battle preparations and to the work for bolstering up the combat capability of the KPA were elected and nominated as delegates and observers to the congress. -0-
